Recently, the 2025 China Shandong - Malaysia Economic and Trade Cooperation Exchange Conference, the "Hospitable Shandong, Confucius' Hometown" Cultural and Tourism Promotion Conference and the "Sharing the Same Moment at the Ends of the Earth" Cultural Performance Event were officially held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. At the event site, Dongchang gourds engraved with the marks of Qilu became the focus. Under the guidance of Wang Shufeng, a provincial-level inheritor of the Dongchang gourd carving technique in Yan Si Sub-district, Dongchangfu District, tourists passing by carefully examined this Chinese intangible cultural heritage that has endured for a thousand years.
