As a historical famous town, Sinv Temple Town in Wucheng County is located at the south bank of Beijing-Hangzhou Canal at the junction of Wucheng County, Decheng District, Dezhou City and Gucheng County, Hebei Province. The name "Sinv" is derived from a beautiful, touching and eternal folklore.

According to legend, in the Emperor Jing of the Western Han Dynasty(B.C.188-B.C.141), there was a benevolent couple surnamed Fu here (Anle Town). The couple were 50 years old with four daughters, who were particularly beautiful and smart. Four daughters wore the men's clothing and were determined not to marry in order to serve their parents, and wished their parents a long life. At the same time, for the sake of expressing their wishes, they planted a locust tree respectively and vowed to the God: "if the locust tree withers, we will marry, otherwise, we won't marry". In order to be able to serve their parents, each daughter secretly watered other sisters' locust trees with hot water in order to burn the trees to death, so as not to delay the youth of other sisters. However, the locust trees were even lusher with hot water. As a result, four daughters served their parents together. They burned incense and cultivated themselves from morning to night, chanted sutras day and night, wishing their parents a long life. Thus, they became immortals and the whole family ascended to the Sukhavati. Although they left, the four locust trees are still slim and graceful, so the common people changed Anle Town as Sinv trees. In order to commemorate the four girls and pass on their virtue from generation to generation, the common people set up a memorial temple and statues, established a stone tablet and wrote a biography. Later, the Sinv trees was changed as Sinv Temple, passing down to now.

In history, the Sinv Temple was a communications hub of water and land. Relying on the wharf of Beijing-Hangzhou Canal, the state highway extending in all directions. The legend of Sinv Temple, in addition to being widely circulated outside the surrounding counties and districts, is also spread far and wide along the Beijing-Hangzhou Canal. Beyond that, the officials and men of literature and writing in history have also left exquisite travel notes and poems for us, which highly praised the traditional virtue of four daughters serving their parents harmoniously and kept endless after spread for thousands of years.
