　　The historical roots of Qianfo Temple Village date back to the Song Dynasty. The village derived its name "Qianfo Temple" from being adjacent to an ancient temple of the same name.

　　Once, there stood a stone stele inside the temple. The top of the stele was adorned with carved reliefs of wandering dragons, featuring bold and powerful textures. The inscription on the stele detailed the entire process and origin of the temple’s construction. Regrettably, this stele has long been lost, leaving the exact year of the temple’s founding an unsolved mystery. Historical records confirm that the ancient temple was jointly funded, built, and maintained by 24 surrounding villages. Over the long course of history, it once enjoyed a period of great prosperity with abundant incense offerings and an imposing scale, making it a major cultural landmark in the region at that time.
