BEIJING, July 30 (Xinhua) -- Shandong Luneng beat Shanghai SIPG 2-1 in the 19th round of the Chinese Super League (CSL) on Sunday, stopping the latters from taking the golden chance to lead the CSL standings.

After Guangzhou Evergrande lost to Guangzhou R&F 4-2 on Saturday, the runners-up Shanghai SIPG could climb atop the table if they won the away game against Shandong Luneng in Jinan.

Wu Lei, the last season CSL top scorer, broke the deadlock in the 24th minute for the visitors, before Jin Jingdao netted his header in the 69th minute to equalize the score.

And the winner came at the last minute after Graziano Pelle received a pass from Papiss Cisse, and had his header hit against the wood, then Wu Xinghan rushed forward to swing his header and scored with his follow-up shot through the fingers of the goalie.

In another match of Sunday, Liaoning Shenyang Carsing beat Changchun Yatai 1-0.
