Confucius Memorial Ceremony kicks off in Qufu

　　The 2022 Confucius Memorial Ceremony was held in Qufu, Jiningin East China's Shandong province on Sept 28, attractingmany people from home and abroad to show their respect for Confucius and his legacy.

　　The worship ceremony, with a history of more than 2,000 years, was included in the first batch of National ListofIntangible Cultural HeritagesinChina in 2006, and is held annually in Qufu,a county-level city andthehometownofChina's well-known philosopherConfucius.
