2024 Jinan Huazhao Festival to kick off on March 23

　　The 2024 Jinan Huazhao Festival will take place at the Daming Lake Scenic Area on March 23 and continue across major parks and scenic areas in Jinan until May 6.

　　The festival's main venue is set up at Daming Lake. It will feature 17 creative cultural activities, including a selection of 12 flower goddesses, which is the highlight of the festival, a photography contest, a traditional Chinese flower arrangement contest, and a spring market. The aim is to create a distinctive brand for the festival.

　　The city's major parks and scenic areas, including the Qianfo Mountain Scenic Area, Jinan Zoo, Quancheng Park, and Jinan Botanical Garden, will work together to organize over 20 activities. The activities will include mountain hiking, flower admiring, bird studying, flower tie-dyeing, and tea tasting.

　　The Jinan Garden and Forestry Greening Bureau will release a flower viewing map and provide guidance for people interested in hiking and admiring flowers.
