“National Science Popularization Day” activities to be held in Shandong from Sept. 11 to 17

Shandong province will organize a series of activities from September 11 to 17 to celebrate the “National Science Popularization Day” in 2021.

The series of activities include a launching ceremony at Shandong Science and Technology Museum, online science popularization day activities, and a tropical rainforest ecological exhibition. Scientific and technological workers will be invited to carry out science popularization activities in various forms and with rich contents in villages, communities, enterprises, and schools, etc. A science knowledge competition will be launched online, and excellent works of science popularization micro-video films will be screened.

Since the National Science Popularization Day was launched in 2004, China Association for Science and Technology has been organizing and mobilizing various local governments and various fields to carry out science popularization activities for the public every year in September.
