Shandong issues 13 measures to support high-quality development of cultural tourism

The Measures on Strengthening Financial Support for the High-quality Development of Cultural Tourism Industry was jointly issued by six provincial departments recently. It proposed 13 measures, including increasing credit support, improving the bank-enterprise docking mechanism, promoting financial service innovation, expanding financing channels, and enhancing multi-agency and coordination mechanism, to further strengthen support for cultural tourism and other industries and enterprises affected by the COVID-19, and promote the high-quality development of cultural tourism industry in the province.

The Measures specifies that no less than 5 billion yuan will be separately re-loaned each year to guide banking financial institutions to increase financial support for cultural tourism enterprises and projects in the province. The non-loan households of cultural tourism industry will be included in the first loan cultivation action of private and small and micro enterprises to increase the proportion of first-loan households. According to the Measures, Shandong will implement the policy of extending the principal and interest payments on inclusive small and micro loans and other preferential financial assistance to enterprises, and support the assistance to and development of key groups such as performance enterprises and travel agencies.

At the same time, the Measures proposes to deepen and expand pilot demonstration work to support the construction of national cultural and tourism consumption demonstration cities and pilot cities, and back up the standardized development of national and provincial cultural industry demonstration parks and cultural industry demonstration bases.
