Shandong province to carry out pilot work on the protection of minors

According to the Leading Group Office of Shandong Province for the Protection of Minors, pilot work on the protection of minors will be carried out throughout the province, focusing on building a “six-in-one” work system for the protection of minors integrating family protection, school protection, social protection, cyber protection, government protection, and judicial protection, and developing a batch of pilot counties (county-level cities, districts) for the protection of minors with sound systems, effective mechanisms, forceful measures, and standardized services.

Shandong has specified the “Reference Standards of Shandong Province for the Pilot Work on the Protection of Minors”, prescribing 97 reference standards from 11 aspects including ideological guidance, organizational leadership, working mechanism, family protection, school protection, social protection, cyber protection, government protection, judicial protection, institution building, and team building. Meanwhile, the province has set up a “negative list for work items”, established an exit mechanism and strengthened dynamic management.
