Dongying Holds a Meeting for Friendly Exchange on “Green Family” with Kisarazu of Japan via Video Link

　　10月19日，东营市外办联合市妇联、市住建局与日本木更津市有机城市推进课举行了以“绿色家庭”为主题的友好交流视频会议，双方就垃圾分类、绿色生活等进行了经验分享和对话交流。

　　On October 19th, the Foreign Affairs Office of Dongying Municipal People’s Government, Dongying Municipal Women’s Federation and Dongying Municipal Housing and Construction Bureau held the Meeting for Friendly Exchange on “Green Family” with the Organic City Promotion Division of Kisarazu, Japan via Video Link. The parties shared the experience on and discussed about garbage sorting and green life.

　　东营市外办就今后两市在青少年书画交流、绿色家庭、体育、经贸、科技、媒体宣传等领域开展交流进行了展望，表示将以此次“绿色家庭”交流活动为契机，通过线上线下相结合的方式逐步加深两市间友好交流关系并得到日方积极回应。东营市住建局和东营市妇联分别介绍了全市生活垃圾分类工作开展情况及“绿色家庭”创建工作开展情况。木更津市参会人员介绍了该市垃圾分类、绿色生活等情况，并就东营市提出的问题作出了详细回答。

　　The Foreign Affairs Office of Dongying Municipal People’s Governmentenvisioned future exchanges between the two cities in the fields of youth calligraphy and painting, green family, sports, economy and trade, science and technology, media publicity, etc. and noted that it will take this opportunity to gradually deepen the friendly exchange between the two cities both online and offline, winning positive response from the Japanese side. Dongying Municipal Women’s Federation and Dongying Municipal Housing and Construction Bureau introduced Dongying’s work on domestic garbage sorting and creation of “green family”, respectively. Representatives of Kisarazu introduced the city’s efforts in garbage sorting, green life, etc. and answered problems raised by Dongying in detail.

　　木更津市位于日本千叶县中西部的房总半岛、东京湾的中部东岸，距离东京都约35km，风景秀丽，港口物流产业发达。东营市和木更津市于2010年建立友好交往城市关系，此次交流活动的举办为双方在垃圾分类、绿色生活方面增进了相互理解，搭建了友谊桥梁。下一步，东营市外办将以中日邦交正常化50周年为契机，持续推进与日本木更津市在各领域的合作，让更多市民参与进来，切实推进“外事为民、外事惠民”活动走深走实。

　　Located in the central bank between Boso Peninsula in Chiba Prefecture and Tokyo Bay, Kisarazu is about 35km away from Tokyo and boasts beautiful scenery and developed port logistics industry. Dongyingestablished the sister city tie with Kisarazuin 2010. This meeting is a platform for the two cities to further deepen the understanding in garbage sorting and green life, and enhance the friendship. In the next step, the Foreign Affairs Office of Dongying Municipal People’s Governmentwill take the opportunity of the 50th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between China and Japan to keep advancing the cooperation with Kisarazuin various fields and call for the participation of more citizens, thus benefiting them with foreign affairs services.
