　　秋天的第一个节气

　　marking the beginning of autumn

　　立秋在自然界就代表着阳气渐收 阴气渐长

　　when the "Yang energy" gradually recedes and the "Yin energy" starts to increase

　　万物开始从繁茂成长趋向萧瑟成熟

　　In nature, everything starts transitioning from lush growth to a desolate maturity

　　但立秋并不代表着酷热天气的结束

　　However, the arrival of “Beginning of Autumn” does not mean an end to hot weather

　　立秋是揪着最热旬的尾巴来到我们面前

　　It comes at the tail end of the hottest period

　　依然承袭着暑热的本色

　　still carrying the essence of summer heat

　　虽然谓之“秋”

　　Although it is called "Beginning of Autumn"

　　但立秋却是24节气中仅次于大暑小暑的第三热节气从而有了立了秋扇莫丢之说

　　it is actually the third hottest among 24 solar terms, only after "Major Heat" and "Minor Heat", hence the saying "Keep your fans in hand despite the ‘Beginning of Autumn’"

　　正所谓自古逢秋悲寂寥 我言秋日胜春朝
