Dingtao invited Russian friends to visit the Cultural Center Experience the cultural aroma of ink and enjoy the Intangible

　　On March 29th, Dingtao held aspecial themedactivity named"Walking ThroughShandong, ExperiencingHeze",invitingeight foreign friends from Russia to visitthe DingtaoCultural Center, wherethey immersivelyexperiencedthe intangible cultural heritage of Dingtao and perceivedthe exuberant enthusiasm of ink splashing.

　　First,the foreign friends visited the Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibitionareaof Dingtao Cultural Center. Under the guidance and explanation of Qin Huaizhongwho is the inheritor of intangible cultural heritage,they were introduced to various forms of Dingtao's intangible cultural heritage, including shadow puppetry, clay sculpture, rope weaving, embroidery, paper cutting, and more. And theyalsodisplayed a keen interest in these cultural traditions.

　　Then the international friends admired various treasures of calligraphy, including running script and cursive script, as well as realistic and freehand Chinese paintings in the Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition Hall.Guided by thecalligraphy teacher, they wrote the Chinese character "Fu" by themselves."I think Chinese characters are powerful, and especially when presented in ink,they become evenmore exquisite. This is the first time I've ever held a brush pen and realize the extensiveness and profoundness of Chinese calligraphy.And I hope to have the opportunity to learn it systematically in the future." Dmitry, one of the participants, told the reporter.

　　At the end of the event, peopele from the PublicityDepartment of the Dingtao District Committee presented the welcomingspeech written by ateacher of the Cultural Center, hand-drawnpeony paintings and handcrafted paper-cutting artworks to Russian friends who participated in the event. And they alsosharedthe beauty ofHeze peoniesand the rich peony culturewith the Russian friends,invitingthem visitHeze, where they can appreciate peoniestogether and renewinternational friendship.
