Cultural exchange promotes friendship between China and Ghana

  Recently, Wang Shoufeng, a calligrapher from Mudan District, Heze, Shandong, was invited to Ghana for a unique cultural exchange event. This event not only showcases the unique charm of Chinese calligraphy, but also further promotes cultural exchange and cooperation between China and Canada.

  During the event, Wang Shoufeng's carefully crafted calligraphy works were permanently collected by the Ghanaian Embassy as a national gift and received a collection certificate issued by the embassy.

  Wang Shoufeng, as a member of the Chinese Elderly Calligraphy and Painting Research Association, a Chinese national etiquette artist, and a member of the Heze Book Association, has won the first prize at the Heze Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition for his works. He has also exhibited at the Chinese Elderly Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition twice in 2019 and 2021. In 2023, his works were included in the National Gift Collection.

  Wang Shoufeng feels honored and proud to participate in the cultural exchange between China and Canada. He said that being able to use calligraphy art as a medium to share traditional Chinese culture with friends in Ghana is a very valuable experience.

  In the current era of globalization, cultural exchange is of crucial importance in promoting mutual understanding and friendship among countries. Wang Shoufeng's calligraphy works, as an art form, cross the boundaries of language and geography, showcasing the unique charm of traditional Chinese culture to the people of Ghana.
