Yangxin County Organized Cultural Exchange Activities with South Korean School

　　On the morning of July 4, 2024, the Publicity Department of Yangxin County Party Committee planned and organized an online cultural exchange activity, aiming at deepening the understanding and respect of Chinese and Korean students and teachers for mutual cultures and promoting the further development of friendly relations.

　　Ma Sinan from Sungkyunkwan University, Gao Shengming from Hanyang University, Ji Hongli from Seoul National University and Seongbyong Kim were specially invited to participate in the activity.Li Xinrui, Director of the News Section of the Publicity Department of Yangxin County Party Committee, served as the Chinese host and cultural tour guide of this exchange activity.

　　Director Li first extended a warm welcome to the South Korean teachers and students who came from afar, and briefly introduced the long historical background and profound cultural connotationof Yangxin County.He mentioned that Yangxin County was established in the early Western Han Dynasty with a history of more than 2,200 years. It is one of the important cradles of Chinese civilization and has nurtured many outstanding figures, among which Zhan Ziqian is one of the most representative cultural celebrities.

　　Later, under the guidance of director Li’s lens, we stepped into the gate of Zhan Ziqian Memorial Hall.Every exhibition work in the hall carries heavy historical and cultural information. Director Li’s vivid and detailed explanation made this online visit more lively and interesting. When the camera slowly moved in front of Spring Outing, Director Li pointed out that this work is not only the representative work of Zhan Ziqian, but also a milestone in the history of China’s landscape painting, and its artistic value and historical significance are immeasurable. At present, this precious original is properly preserved in the Palace Museum and has become a treasure in the hearts of countless art lovers.

　　Throughout the communication process, South Korean teachers and students showed great interest and enthusiasm.They not only listened carefully to Director Li’s explanation, but also actively asked questions, interacted and shared their views and feelings on traditional Chinese culture. In the end, with the joint efforts of participants from both sides, the online cultural exchange activity between Yangxin County and South Korea Friendship School achieved a complete success.
