In a bid tocarry forward China’s excellent traditional culture, enrich and enliven the cultural life of the masses, unite and cultivate more opera lovers, and let the masses in the jurisdiction share cultural achievements, recently, recently, New Age Civilization Practice Institute, Women’s Federation, Youth League Committee, Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Association for Science and Technology and many other departments in Liuwupo Town organized and carried out Intangible Cultural Heritage Opera Culture Benefiting Square Activity & Summer Village Evening Gala at Changhongwobo Cultural Square.

For this activity, Liupowu Town organized a great many of opera lovers from Qianjian Village, Zhonggou Village, Nanxie Village, Dawangzhuang Village, Beidong Village, Houjian Village and Nanhan Village, etc., to perform traditional operas such as “Halahu”, traditional music “Thousands of War Drums”and traditional operas such as Beijing Opera, Henan Opera, Shandong Opera and Liuqin Opera for the masses.
At the event site, wonderful programs, such as Greedy Sister-in-law, Elderly Are in Difficulty, Much Happiness on the Road to Well-off Society, Drunk Ma Dabao, and Thousands of War Drums were staged in turn. The villagers gathered in front of the stage with focused eyes and immersed expressions, as if attracted by the magic on the stage. The drama actors on the stage interpreted the story passionately, bringing every audience into a new world, allowing them to enjoy the beauty and touch brought by this cultural feast.
It is reported that since 2024, Liupowu Town has deeply explored various cultural talents within its jurisdiction and built a platform for cultural enthusiasts in the jurisdiction,allowing the masses with hobbies and specialties to put down their hoes, put on costumes, pick up props, embark on their beloved stage, and present their talents to the masses during off-season period, thus realizing a new situation of cultural life from “entertainingoneself”to “entertainingeveryone”.
