Chengwu County: Exploring the Bole Culture Across Geographic Boundaries

　　Recently, a unique cultural exchange event kicked off between Chengwu County and the Confucius Institute at the Federal University of Minas Gerais in Brazil. The theme of this event is "Exploring the Beauty of Geography and Appreciating the Bole Culture Together". Through rich and colorful cultural exhibitions and easy to understand explanations, it leads Brazilian students to jointly appreciate the beauty of China's geography and the unique charm of Bole culture.

　　During the event, Ruan Zhuoyu, the overseas cultural ambassador of Chengwu County and a teacher at the Confucius Institute, showcased the magnificent scenery and diverse landforms of China through exquisite pictures. From the snowy plateau in the north to the tropical rainforest in the south, from the bustling cities in the east to the magnificent mountains and rivers in the west, he led Brazilian teachers and students on a journey of geography and culture in China.

　　Under the guidance of Ruan Zhuoyu, Brazilian teachers and students gradually focused their attention on a place full of historical and cultural heritage - Chengwu County, the hometown of Bole. Ruan Zhuoyu affectionately told the history of Chengwu County, as well as Shandong handmade products such as "Chengwu carved porcelain", "Chengwu black pottery", "Caozhou clay figurine", "Chengwu Pickled vegetables", which bear the wisdom and sweat of the people of Chengwu. She mentioned that Chengwu County is not only the hometown of the famous ancient Chinese horse expert Bole, but also has a strong historical and cultural heritage. These handmade products each contain the unique craftsmanship of the Chengwu people and the inheritance and promotion of traditional culture. Ruan Zhuoyu used her infectious language to narrate the unique charm and stories behind these products, which aroused strong interest among Brazilian students. They all expressed their hope for the opportunity to personally experience and understand these unique Chinese cultures.
