Panda culture is shared by the world. In order to better interpret and elaborate on panda culture to the global audience, the "Lovely Pandas, Beautiful China" cultural exchange event was successfully held recently at the Confucius Classroom of the Gabrovo Nature and Mathematics High School in Bulgaria.

On the day of the event, Meng Yao, a Chinese language teacher from the Confucius Institute in Sofia, Bulgaria, led the students on an exploratory journey through panda culture. She not only vividly recounted the unique status of giant pandas as messengers of peace and friendship but also brought students up close to the adorable daily lives of pandas and their vital role in ecological protection in China through a series of exquisite video materials. Meng Yao's explanation seemed to build a bridge of understanding, making the distant Eastern culture accessible and tangible.

"Through today's event, it felt as if I had personally set foot on Chinese soil, experiencing the warmth and friendliness of that distant country," an excited student said. "Giant pandas are not only China's national treasure but also a shared wealth of all humanity. They remind us that no matter where we are, love and peace are the most precious languages."

To make the event even more engaging, the scene was specially adorned with cultural creative products featuring giant pandas, such as refrigerator magnets and sticky notes, thoughtfully prepared by Chengwu County. These small yet exquisite promotional items not only cleverly integrated the adorable images of pandas into everyday life but also carried profound cultural connotations and heartfelt blessings. The students showed great interest and affection for these cultural products, eagerly approaching to collect them. Some attached them to their notebooks, while others carefully stored them away, as if treasuring the friendship and warmth from China forever.

"Giant pandas, as symbols of peace and friendship, are deeply loved by people all over the world. They vividly embody the Chinese characteristics of affinity, kindness, and humility, serving as a bridge and bond for communication between China and other countries. As a teacher at the Confucius Institute, I will continue to use my eternal enthusiasm and firm belief as a beacon to guide every student on a journey through the ocean of Chinese culture," Meng Yao expressed.

The successful hosting of this event is not only a triumphant interpretation of panda culture but also a microcosm of cultural exchange and cooperation between China and Bulgaria. It fully demonstrates Chengwu County's steadfast determination and unremitting efforts in promoting Chinese culture. Looking forward, Chengwu County will continue to advance the international dissemination and exchange of Chinese culture, striving to build more bridges so that people from all over the world have the opportunity to deeply understand China, experience China firsthand, and genuinely fall in love with China.
