The group first stepped into the city's museum, which is like a treasure house of time, quietly telling the long story of Chinese history. From the origin of the ancient Chinese civilization to the brilliance of various dynasties, the dazzling cultural relics exhibits and detailed and vivid historical introductions make Korean friends too dizzying. Sometimes they stopped and stared, sometimes they talked quietly, marveling at the long history of China. Especially in the exhibition area to learn about traditional Chinese cuisine culture, exquisite kitchenware, ancient recipes and lifelike restoration of food scenes clearly present the development of Chinese cuisine for thousands of years. The Korean friends listened with great interest to the explanation of how Chinese cuisine gradually formed a unique system from the selection of ingredients, cooking techniques to eating etiquette, and deeply understood the profound cultural heritage and life wisdom contained in it.
Walking out of the museum, the attractive aroma of Chinese food filled the surrounding area immediately attracted everyone's footsteps. Everyone shuttled through the streets, tasting a classic Chinese food. From dumplings with thin skin and big filling, to roast duck with fragrant aroma, to spicy and fragrant Sichuan dishes, every flavor jumps on the tongue, making Korean friends immersed in a carnival of food. They were full of praise for the rich variety and unique flavors of Chinese cuisine, saying that they had never experienced the charm of Chinese food culture in such a comprehensive and in-depth way before.
The cultural exchange activity was successfully concluded in a lot of laughter, but its impact is far from stopped. The South Korean friends were deeply touched, and they said with high expectations that Shandong, as one of the important birthplace of Chinese food culture, must go to Shandong to explore more delicious dishes hidden in the streets and alleys, and further feel the profound and unique charm of Shandong culture.
