Community Celebrates Spring Festival with a Cultural Feast

　　On January 15th, the Cultural Road Street organized a series of unique Spring Festival celebration activities in Longfeng Community. This event invited residents within the jurisdiction as well as four international students from Zaozhuang University to gather together to usher in the upcoming Spring Festival.

　　At the event venue, a calligraphy teacher elaborated on how to hold a brush, the structure of fonts, and the symbolic meaning of the Chinese character for "good fortune" (福). The international students, filled with curiosity, intently observed every move of the teacher. Subsequently, under the patient guidance of the teacher and the enthusiastic encouragement of the residents, they took turns to experience calligraphy. One international student excitedly remarked, "This is my first time writing Chinese characters with a brush. It feels so magical!"

　　During the paper-cutting activity, community staff thoughtfully prepared colored paper, scissors, and other tools. Residents skillfully picked up scissors, and in no time, exquisite paper-cutting works came to life in their hands, including vivid kite designs, auspicious cabbage motifs, and circular patterns symbolizing reunion. The scene was filled with joy and warmth.

　　This Spring Festival celebration not only brought happiness to the residents but also provided an excellent opportunity for international students to gain a deeper understanding of Chinese culture. Amid laughter and joy, both Chinese and foreign friends appreciated the charm of "writing the character for good fortune" and "paper-cutting". With every stroke of the brush and every cut of the scissors, they conveyed their beautiful expectations and blessings for the Spring Festival.
