Recently, Li Weihua, head of Shandong Hanfu Industry Development and Investment Co., Ltd. visited the United States and Mexico with the delegation, and visited the heads of local Hanfu shops to understand the development of the Hanfu industry in the United States and overseas dissemination, and held discussions and exchanges on the local development of the city's key industries such as wood products, Hanfu and peony. Efforts will be made to promote international cooperation in Hanfu industry and overseas dissemination of peony culture.
During the period, the delegation led the heads of Heze Hanfu enterprises to conduct in-depth exchanges with local Hanfu organizations and cultural institutions in the United States and Mexico, and reached a number of consensus on issues such as market expansion and cultural mutual learning. In Los Angeles, the delegation made a special trip to visit Chen Wei, head of Southern California Hanfu Society, to learn more about the consumption trend and cultural transmission mode of Hanfu in the United States. The two sides discussed the technical details such as shape research and pattern design, and the US side especially affirmed the advantages of Heze enterprises in the research and development of intangible cultural heritage fabrics. "The acceptance of traditional Hanfu in the North American market is increasing year by year," Chen said. "We hope to jointly develop improved products in line with Western aesthetics with Heze enterprises."
The delegation also demonstrated Heze peony products to the US-Mexico business community through the "Peony Cultural Experience Day". "Peonies and cactus, as cultural symbols of the two countries, have a natural basis for dialogue," said Maria Rodriguez, president of the Mexican Handicraft Association.
In Mexico City, Heze Hanfu enterprises and China-Mexico Cultural Exchange Center signed a memorandum of understanding, planning to build a "China-Mexico clothing culture Research center". The two sides will jointly carry out a comparative study on the craftsmanship of Hanfu and traditional Mexican clothing, and explore the path of joint design and development.
