A China-Pakistan economic, trade, and cultural exchange conference, themed "Civilization Mutual Learning and Win-Win Cooperation," was recently held in Beijing.
Wang Zhen—Deputy Secretary-General of the Shandong Alumni Association of Communication University of China, Director of the Zibo Office, Executive President of the Boshan District Brand Chain Development Association, and General Manager of Zibo Laoyanshen Catering Culture Management Group Co., Ltd.—was invited to attend as a representative of Qilu culture. He was honored with the title of "Cultural Exchange Ambassador Between China and Foreign Countries" in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the inheritance of traditional culture and its international dissemination.
At the Belt and Road Initiative cultural exchange forum, Wang Zhen delivered a keynote speech titled "Let the World See the Contemporary Vitality of Oriental Aesthetics," showcasing two Chinese national-level intangible cultural heritage items: the ancient lost-wax casting technique for colored glaze and the high-temperature variegated agate glaze. His presentation highlighted their timeless elegance to international guests.
As a leading cultural figure in Zibo, Wang Zhen has consistently fulfilled the mission of "creative transformation and innovative development" (dual creativity) in cultural endeavors. Under his leadership, Laoyanshen Group pioneered the "intangible cultural heritage + cultural tourism" ecosystem, attracting over 300,000 international visitors annually. Additionally, the Boshan District 12349 Service Center, which he oversees, has established a comprehensive urban-rural cultural service network, bridging traditional craftsmanship with modern lifestyles.
