Caoxian Hanfu Wows Geneva: Intangible Heritage Copyright Shines on Global Stage

　　From July 8 to 17, the thematic exhibition "Protecting Innovation, Building the Future Together – Copyright in China" opened at the headquarters of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva, Switzerland. Co-hosted by China's National Copyright Administration, the Permanent Mission of China to Geneva, and WIPO, the exhibition was attended by over 1,000 representatives from WIPO member states and observer organizations, who witnessed China's achievements in copyright and culture.

　　The Hanfu work Flourishing Peony (Peony Fiber Fragrance Type) from Caoxian County, Shandong Province, China, stood out as an outstanding example of copyright protection and innovative transformation of folk arts. It vividly showcased to the world the unique charm and contemporary vitality of China's intangible cultural heritage.

　　This exquisite Hanfu, provided by Shandong Jizhi Life Technology Co., Ltd., takes the peony – celebrated as "the national beauty with heavenly fragrance" – as its design soul, seamlessly integrating traditional flower lantern elements with modern craftsmanship. It adopts an exclusively developed peony fiber extraction technology: the fabric contains 4% natural peony fiber, and through a pure plant extraction process, it achieves a natural fragrance that lasts for three years, pioneering the new concept of "wearable floral fragrance." The smooth lines of the peony patterns on the skirt, paired with magpie motifs, not only embody the essence of Oriental aesthetics but also break through the sensory experience of traditional clothing, infusing traditional culture with innovative vitality.
