Lotus Charm on the Baolong River

　　In July, the lotus flowers on both sides of the Baolong River in Wendeng District, Weihai City, bloomed as scheduled. The lotus leaves spread like green silk, their gentle verdant hues rippling across the emerald waters. The pink-and-white blossoms, delicate as a maiden’s shy smile, stand in graceful contrast against the lush greenery, composing a serene watercolor painting.

　　Amidst the clusters of leaves, the buds rise elegantly, demure yet brimming with vitality. Occasionally, a dragonfly flits by, alighting on a bud, adding a touch of liveliness to the tranquil river.

　　Strolling leisurely along the shore, small groups of locals pause to admire the view or capture the moment with their cameras, immersed in the delicate fragrance. A soft breeze whispers through, rustling the leaves and carrying the faint scent of lotus, filling the summer air with a refreshing and poetic charm along the Baolong River.
