　　In the early autumn, the Dongyu River section in Guting, Yutai, is a scene of rippling clear waters. The thousands of acres of lotus ponds along the inner banks on both sides are neatly arranged and stretch on endlessly. Viewed from above, they resemble two emerald green jade belts, set on both sides of the river, presenting a magnificent sight. It is the most beautiful time of the year.

　　In the lotus ponds, the lotus leaves are round and smoothlike roofs, with layers of emerald green; the lotus flowers stand gracefully, swaying gently; the lotus seed podshang low, clustering together like verses. The light of the sky and the color of the water blend together, a serene and vibrant ecological scene is depicted.
