Recently, the "Peony Elegance Blooms in Kyoto——Heze Peony Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition in Kyoto" — jointly organized by Mudan Subdistrict Office of Mudan District, Heze City, Bailin Studio, and Kyoto University Student Affairs Office — made its debut at two iconic landmarks in Kyoto: Fushimi Inari Shrine and Osaka's Dotonbori Glico billboard. Through this floral art exhibition, Heze's peony culture is now blossoming with unique charm across Japan.
As a vital platform for Sino-Japanese cultural exchange, this event centers on three core objectives: deepening public understanding, advancing industrial globalization, and enhancing international brand recognition. By integrating Heze's profound peony culture with exquisite calligraphy and painting artistry, it creates a dual presentation space that harmoniously blends traditional landmarks with modern media. The static peony art exhibition at the Gree Gao billboard and Kyoto Fushimi Inari Shrine display area stands out as an elegant touch amidst the fast-pacedatmosphere.
The participants of this event span diverse circles: Kyoto University students explore the artistic resonance between China and Japan within an academic atmosphere, Bailin Studio staff assist in cultural interpretation on-site, Chinese students studying in Japan serve as a "bridge" for cultural exchange, while local residents and domestic and international tourists experience the warmth of traditional Chinese culture up close through this exhibition.
